Motherhood: An Experience of a lifetime.

We thank Mrs. Priyanka Sharma for sharing her experience of Motherhood.

Author: Priyanka Sharma

Introduction: A caring and loving mother of a 2 and a half year old baby. Has a super baby complex and seeks nothing but the best for her kid.

The Article:

If I had to write about anything I would love to write about motherhood.

Motherhood if possible to be defined in a single then it would be “Love”. Love for the new life born from within you, whom you carried in your womb for 9 months. Babies are a gift from god to the mothers. Motherhood makes us learn so many things which we could never have comprehended without actually living through it.

Motherhood is in no way less than Knighthood. Knighthood is given for exemplary service where you only sacrifice life and blood but in Motherhood you sacrifice even more just to hear your creation utter the words “Ma Ma” for the first time. You have to sacrifice sleep, food, work and time. I too have been through this and I am sure many of you also have.

When I look back at those moments that I have captured and kept stored in my ipad I feel immense joy and pleasure.

You always learn something new each and every day from your baby. There are times when you’ll get annoyed, feel irritated and become an angry bird but as the days pass by when your baby grows you’ll learn to deal with them. You’ll learn by yourself how to hold that delicate life, how to give your baby a bath, make him/her eat, how to make him/her sleep, what food to be given at what time etc. You’ll start being patient and you will start understanding what your baby is trying to say in signs. A mother is the only one who can understand the unsaid thoughts of a baby.

Baby brings so much of happiness and love in one’s life, it’s a complete joy to watch your baby taking first steps, first laugh, first dance move, first word spoken.

Motherhood is a like joy ride full of ups and down but yet it gives sweet and happy memories that will bring smile on our faces. Motherhood is all about cherishing those beautiful moments and live your childhood again from the eyes of your kids. After all motherhood is all about love, the love that’s hoping to stay forever in our life till eternity.

Thank you.
