About his article:

The below mentioned article is, as mentioned above, a poem in Hindi giving a tribute to Shree Karpoor Chandra Kulish (1926-2006) the founder of Rajasthan Patrika. A Journalist, poet and philosopher, Mr. Kulish founded Rajasthan Patrika in the year 1956 and published his paper for the people of Delhi and Rajasthan. His work “America Ek Vihangam Drishti” and “Mein Dekhta Chala Gaya” gave him a lot of recognition.

During his lifetime he has received many awards among them were the B.D. Goenka foundation award for “Outstanding Contribution in the Indian Language Newspaper” in 1990. He was also Felicitated by the Prime Minister of India Mr. Chandra Shekhar. He also received the Gansesh Shankar Vidyarthi award in 2000. He later received the ‘Sahitya Vachaspati’ award, the highest honor bestowed by the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan. He also has one of the rare honors of having his own postage stamp. The Indian Post released a stamp for Mr. Kulish on 16 May 2012.

After his retirement he developed an interest in spirituality and Vedic sciences. He worked towards spreading the Vedic knowledge to the common people.

ज्ञान का भूषण कुलिश

व्यक्तित्व कर्पूर मुरली जैसी भाषा ।

उस दिव्य ज्योति कुलिश की क्या होगी परिभाषा ।।

कर्पूर जी थे इस लोक पर देव स्वरूप ।

मिली ज्योति मे ज्योति आत्मा अमर ज्योति अनुरूप ।।

लोक में ज्ञान रूपी भूषण धारणकर जिसने जीवन काटा ।

उस ज्ञान रूप भूषण को पत्रिका के माध्यम से पूरे जग में बाँटा ।।

वेदों का संग्रह कर ‘शब्द वेद’ पुस्तक को वो कुलिश ही लिख पाता ।

क्योंकि वेदशास्त्र , ग्रंथों व साहित्य के थे वो ज्ञाता ।।

ज्ञान का भूषण अब कुलिश ने  गुलाब के हाथों मे डाला है ।

गुलाब से भी महकेगा पत्रिका अब भी क्योंकि कुलिश से ही ज्ञान का रस गुलाब मे आता है ।।
